In March 2004, I traveled to San Diego for business and had
a chance
to visit the Zoo. I could only spend about 1.5 hours at the Zoo,
taking
rapid fire shots on continuous mode with the Canon 10D (mostly during a
quick
bus tour, taking shots on the fly, and then a few shots on foot).
The
camera performed flawlessly, and I was pleased with the effectiveness
of
autofocus and the overall sharpness of the "standard" 24-85mm EOS lens
(most
of these were taken from the top of a moving bus, with the lens zoomed
to
a focal length near the 85mm range, at ISO800). Here are some of
