Description:
IC
1805, IC 1848, and SH2-202 are Ha emission nebulae with
associated star clusters. The above image shows the Heart Nebula
(IC 1805, upper left) and the Soul Nebula (IC
1848, center), which are located in the constellation Cassiopeia (The
Queen, mother of Andromeda).
The large emission nebula in the lower right is SH2-202,
flanked by vdB-14
and vdB-15, which are two beautiful reflection nebula in the
constellation Camelopardalis (The Giraffe). Please

Photographic
Details:
Scope/Camera: The widefield "palette" for this image was
obtained on December 10, 2021, using the a self IR-modified Canon T7i
in conjunction with the Samyang/Rokinon
135mm lens/Canon T71 (5.8"/pixel). Additional Ha and RGB data of this
region were also obtained on December 10, 2021, using my FSQ106/U16M (3.5"/pixel).
Data from my prior images of IC1805, IC1848, and SH2-202 taken over the
years were added to create the widefield composite shown above.
The cumulative imaging time to produce the above image was
approximately 40 hours
