Top of Tuckerman Panorama in Black and White
Description:
I hiked the White Mountain region in August 2009 and took a total of 11
frames (vertical, portrait orientation) at the top of Tuckerman
Ravine, in order to assemble this high resolution mosaic. The
above image shows the southern border of Tuckerman's Ravine in the
center (which includes the Boott Spur and Davis Trails), as well as the
Lion Head Trail on the left. These
images were taken without a tripod, using a Canon 50D with a Canon
10-22mm wide angle lens at 22mm focal length. The frames were
taken in manual mode, 1/640 sec, f10, ISO 400, and then assembled
for the panorama using the photomerge feature in Photoshop CS4.
