From Rosette to Cone: A Widefield View in Monoceros

Description:
This
is a four-panel mosaic of a large region in Monoceros that is mostly
comprised of
emission nebulosity
harboring familiar winter objects (for the Northern Hemisphere) such as
the Cone Nebula, Christmas
Tree Cluster, and Rosette Nebula (place cursor over the image to see
a rollover with labels).
Less famous but equally interesting targets in this vast expanse of gas
include reflection nebulae, absorption nebulae, and star clusters.
