Description:
This
is a large region that is mostly comprised of emission nebulosity
harboring familiar winter objects (for the Northern Hemisphere) such as
the Cone Nebula and
Christmas Tree Cluster (click on the links above for labeled
images).
Less famous but equally interesting targets in this vast expanse of gas
include reflection nebulae, absorption nebulae, and star clusters.
